I grew up in an organic winery owned by my family and we always had people all over the world staying and working with us. When I started travelling I got introduced to WWOOFing and it reminded me of my home and so far I only had lovely experiences!

To experience something different during my trip in Oz, I love to spend time by the ocean and nature 🙂 love the adventure and explore new areas with friends. Meeting new people and experience a different life on a farm would be the ultimate travelling experience. To meet like minded people and to participate in community. I have to sell my place and am starting to look for a new place to live and Mabey somewhere near other WWOOF hosts as I want to be a WWOOF host too. I love gardening and would like to see other people's gardens and be involved in creating and learning more.

I have time off and am keen to make the most of it, give back and enjoy seeing new parts of Australia. I also imagine there is quite a demand for help at the moment with less tourists, so I am happy to help out. I remember hearing about WWOOF when I was 18 and involved in organisations like Landcare but have never had the time until now to help.

Since I'm into food, I started to curious about how the foods grow including vegetables or animals. Also interested in sustainable living practice which many WWOOF hosts are applying so I thought I could learn from them. I'm interested in organic/ permaculture practice, I thought volunteering through WWOOF is the best way to start with.

I joined WWOOF because of the whole idea of learning and helping and working with others. I'm also always excited about new experiences and learning new skills. It's also a great opportunity to do so by helping out, sharing, and meet new people. It would be an amazing way to experience Australia differently as a last experience there before moving back to Europe. Working with very produce-focused restaurants around the world these past few years, a more hands on experience, learning about general farming and organic practices makes a lot of sense.

I joined WWOOF in the hope to deepen my understand of where my food comes from as well as to give back to and support the organic produce community. I have been eating majority organic vegetables and fruit now for 2 years. I love to have my own veggie gardens, so I'm looking forward to learning more about growing food from the experts.

I was raised on a farm. Love country lifestyle and enjoy outdoor activities. I would like to know more about Australian culture by volunteering in Australian fields, and especially helping in areas affected by bushfires.

I want to learn more about farming and stuffff. Also I love to get to know new people and learning new experiences. I have done my first WWOOF experience in Canada with an oyster farm and it was incredibly fun! I enjoy local lifestyle and I think WWOOF is the great way to experience it!

I'm looking forward to the opportunity to meet interesting people (both wwoofers and hosts) around the country and share experiences, knowledge and ideas. I'm keen to learn new things and help out where I can. I've done a little bit of wwoofing in the past (not for a while), and I'm hoping to meet more like-minded people and contribute positively where I can. I'm particularly interested in learning more/helping out with self-sufficiency/off-grid living, sustainable homes/building, permaculture (keen to get a practical overview), soil, 'alternative' living arrangements, animal care (wildlife and domestic, particularly horses), ecotourism, bikes/cars/mechanical things, and other practical skills. I'd like to offer my skills and time to assist others where that would be useful for their work, property, or sustainable/enviro-friendly goals.

I joined WWOOF to learn new skills, to contribute to projects and places, to be able to have reciprocal exchange and to get to know a place, and the people that live there, by spending quality time together, and to support and help people to build on their projects and dreams. I have a dream of being a caretaker of land one day and so I'd like to learn more about different ways to do that. I also love meeting new people and like the sense of working together on projects.

I joined WWOOF because I was living in a van with a friend of mine and she brought the idea to light for me. I have a passion for traveling, and have had the opportunity to play softball in Spain and the Dominican Republic. I fell in love with learning about different cultures, there's so many other places I have yet to see and I think WWOOF could offer me that. As I am extremely into the environment, I am looking to educate myself more in a sustainable way; I am itching to learn more always!!

As a way to go adventuring in a way that supports respectful relationships with the land , to share my skills and knowledge with equally passionate people who are out there living their dreams in magical pockets of nature. To experience life in a more authentic way . For me, a holiday is not about lazing around doing nothing or viewing tourist attractions .. it’s about going on an adventure where I can engage in meaningful projects that support this planet.

Skills I Want to Learn:
Elizabeth is a really hard worker/ athlete, who's always got her hands dirty in something. With dreams of her own farm. She is ready to get her hands steeped in reality, so she can make practical moves for the future she dreams of! Madelyn dreams of permanently moving to Australia for work, but wants to first explore the country. She works in the field of anti-trafficking and has studied horticulture therapy but fist needs to learn how to farm!. Madelyn also faces her own chronic health issues, and believes nature is the best medicine!

So why? I am planning to study a Diploma at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in Feb 2021 specialising in making props and scenery for stage. I am currently in regional WA in a town called Kununurra but am looking to fill in some time between now and then by trying  my hand at some WWOOFing down south near Perth. Plus I'll get to see some new places and learn some new stuff so it sounds like a nice deal!

To look for something else to break up my time working in the office as a key account manager. I love my job but I am an outdoor loving person. I have my own horses and would just like to experience more farming in Oz.

I’m looking for meaningful and fulfilling travel options that feed the soul! I’d love to own my own hobby farm one day and WWOOF sounds like the perfect way to gain experience while helping our farmers during these trying times.
