We are on 20+ acres of land backing on to a national forest, within walking distance to the beach and river. We are establishing a permaculture / eco-farm experience, that incorporates living in an environmentally responsible manner, working with recycled material, earth building techniques and establishing a self sustaining permaculture forest. We have recycled 13 caravans, so they make up accommodation for guests and us. We plan on using this place to support community groups too. Our plan is to develop this facility while we work with people and teach them how to incorporate some of these techniques into their own lives. We are in a town of 3500 people, 30 kms south of Nowra and 32kms north of Ulladulla. We are 2.5 hours drive from Sydney, 2.5hrs from Canberra, 9 hours from Melbourne and 13 hrs from Brisbane. We have guests who use our place as a base to discover the South Coast and all the national parks and forests in the area. I come from a big Italian family, I am a qualified Carpenter and Builder, who is managing this project-developing a dream I have had since I was little. My other jobs are too many to list and I don't want to brag. Arthur is the Electrician/ Carpenter/ Builder/ Machine Operator/ Miracle Worker, who makes it all happen. Our 3 dogs (Missy, Molly and Tilly) are our Branch Managers, Work Site Inspectors, Customer Welcoming Committee and Alternative Therapy Personnel.

5 Acres reasonably dry partially cleared which I am trying to turn back into inviting location for local birds, insects, bees & the like to return to and stay! Very rocky areas - so have begun raised garden beds to encourage native plants to grow & thrive. I have many types of tools & equipment to make these tasks easier - but lack assistance & support to handle the larger jobs on my own. My property has lovely water views and afternoon breezes on the deck to survey the work done and be able to relax at the end of each day!

We are an intergenerational family in the early stages of establishing a permaculture property growing a collection of produce for community farmers markets. The 1.7 hectares was previously a brickworks and so is mainly clay and landfill but it has been regenerated with local endemic species and the gradual weed removal has been by hand rather than chemical. Plans include the establishment of a yabbie/fish pond, more raised beds, a mushroom shed and establishment of production routines.
