We have recently relocated from QLD to an organic lime farm in the Northern Rivers area of NSW between Lismore & Nimbin. The farm has been run organically since inception and we plan to continue running it organically. Since the previous owner became ill, the farm has become very rundown and overgrown. There are 1500 Tahitian lime trees on this 6ha piece of paradise which is visited daily by the local wallabies. There is a myriad of beautiful bird life. We offer excellent accommodation and healthy, tasty food. There is also a swimming pool available for use by guests. We require help with weeding, mulching, whipper snipping, pruning, picking, and working on our irrigation system. Accom for up to 3 within our home. Shared meals. Vegan only. We are a vegan household. No children. No smoking or drugs on property. Initial stay 7 days, longer stays negotiable.

Our property is situated on 50 acres of both bushland and farmland, on the New South Wales Central Coast (between Sydney and Newcastle).  We aim to live as sustainably as possible: power is provided by an off-grid solar system, our water supply comes from tanks that collect rainwater from our buildings' roofs, we treat our own waste water with an eco-friendly Biolytix system and our home is surrounded by a large permaculture garden.  The house itself is a 'retrofitted' sustainable house, which requires minimal energy for cooling and heating, and was renovated using recycled and eco friendly materials.  As well as providing us with a lovely, natural setting in which to live and grow our own food, Melaleuca Park is also used by our family business, which is centred around horses.

We moved in to this 100 acre property, situated between Pemberton and Northcliffe in the South West of Western Australia, at the end of last year. It is surrounded by stunning karri forrest and on the crossing of the Bibbulmun walking trail and the Munda Biddi cycling trail. I fell in love with this area whilst mountain biking the Munda Biddi and consider it the most beautiful forest area in WA, so couldn't resist the opportunity to come and live here when this property came on the market. We come from Europe, David from the UK and Annie from Belgium and we have traveled extensively and done a lot of trekking in the Himalayas,  New Zealand, France and Spain. But this country and forest is what we totally fell in love with. There are already very productive netted orchards and also many ponds and a lake for aquaculture. We have introduced bees and there are plenty of marron, the largest freshwater crayfish in the world and pretty tasty. We also have 21 cattle, 6 sheep, 8 chickens, and a couple of worm farms. Plenty of water is also a bonus in this country. We've got the vegie garden started and have plenty of zucchini, tomatoes, beans, chard and cucumber and corn nearly there! Projects include: Constructing and maintaining permaculture gardens and orchards, picking berries and fruit. Planting native flowering plants to introduce bees, propagating and seeding vegetables. Powerful new mulcher has arrived and we will be doing plenty of compost making as well as mulching the gardens and laying new gardens around the cottages. Marron and fish ponds need netting fixed and we want to look at further possibilities for aquaculture. Chickens need to get food sources established, so they have more opportunities to browse. vermiculture - we love worm juice for our gardens. Woodworking shed is getting organised and with a good supply of machinery, upgrading the cottages is next : making steps, verandahs and then an outdoor kitchen/entertaining area, etc. Looking after guests in several cottages on the property and chopping firewood to build up the winter supply is also ongoing. In the kitchen, we love our fermenting: tasty kombucha with the berries that we have picked and frozen or collecting fresh from the orchard; kefir to use with our cereal in the morning. We bake our own buns and make bread with the bread machine.

This beautiful 5 acre property is located in the sleepy hamlet of Mt Nebo, in the D'Aguilar Range just outside of Brisbane. It is situated at an altitude of around 560 metres, delightfully cool in Summer and with a definite bite in the air in Winter. It has organically grown gardens, bounded by a tree grove that is resplendent in filtered light and bowers of flowers. There are three funky structures, two of which house the two resident families on the property, along with the other, where workshops are regularly held on the magic and healing power of nature. https://wwoof.com.au/australian-wild-flower-essences-wwoof-and-learn/

We have the pleasure of living on the beautiful Tuntable Falls Community, an intentional community set up over 40 years ago by a group of awesome people that wanted to live differently to the norm. Our valley edges Nightcap National Park and is filled with natural beauty and opportunities for hiking and creek swimming. Sometimes the valley is quiet and at other times there are social events such as community dinners, bush dances and other social gatherings. Nimbin village is less than 10 minute drive away and has most conveniences. We are a family of two adults and two children. We have a vegetable garden that always has something fresh growing and different fruit and nut trees scattered about. We have a few bee hives and regularly harvest honey. We also cultivate oyster and shiitake mushrooms. We have a pet parrot, guinea pig and chickens. There is a private space separate from our main living space for visitors. It is a light airy space with a queen size bed. There is access to broadband internet. We have a composting toilet and outdoor shower.
