City/Town: Kelsey Creek via Proserpine
Farming Methods: Organic
Accommodation Type: BYO Accommodation
We have a 400 acre farm west of Airlie Beach in The Whitsundays, the gateway to The Great Barrier Reef. Ben and I have 2 boys, Archie and Royce who are 6 and 11. We are very passionate about regenerative farming, working with nature, not against it! We believe in breeding healthy, happy animals without the use of chemicals and taking care of the world underneath our feet. The farm is approved to hold workshops and day visits and we would like to set up a permaculture garden and produce healthy, nutrient dense food. We have built a beautiful timber barn to hold workshops and create an amazing space for people to come together and share wonderful experiences. We are offering the orchard to a family to create their own market garden.

City/Town: Waurn Ponds
Farming Methods: Organic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home
We have a five acre hobby farm that is half veggies and fruit trees and chooks that supplies a sustainable cafe in Geelong. We are pretty much self sustained by our produce. The only meat we eat is the chooks we grow. We get the veges for dinner from the garden each day. But the thing that defines us I think is how we are set up to entertain young children. Three separate playgrounds, indoor pool, tennis court and animals to hand feed. The back of our large home is self contained. Basically we are happy grandparents that would like to share our wonderful home with other families as we are so lucky to be here. Our garden is our passion so we are more likely to be comfortable sharing our knowledge than giving too much of our garden jobs to someone else.
