Skills I Want to Learn:
I love getting my hands dirty doing a good honest days work! Learning new skills, meeting new people, and of course.....travel! I’m genuinely interested in the relationship between humans and food source, nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.

Skills I Want to Learn:
I'm joining WWOOF because I've always loved the idea of learning about permaculture and how to build a stronger connection between ourselves and the land. While I've read plenty of books about permaculture I feel like there's only so much I can learn from a page. I feel like WWOOF provides the amazing opportunity to learn from real people, in practical, real life settings while also giving back and (hopefully!) making a real contribution to the running of a host's farm. I also look forward to the opportunity to create friendships for our family - we're open to connecting with hosts further afield but also love the idea of connecting to people closer to home that we can return to and reconnect with over the years. It would be lovely to connect with hosts who also have children and would be a bonus if you're also homeschoolers with more opportunity for the kids to connect during the day.

I have previously been a WWOOFer and really enjoyed the experience. I have an interest in gardening and sustainable, healthy living. It's a great learning experience to meet new people and see how others are living.

Because I want to learn! I'm a hands-on learner, and with my greatest achievement to date being my ability to keep 25 house plants alive for 2+ years, and worm farm for 4 months - I've got a way to go. I'd love to support the hosts in cultivating their own piece of land, join the sustainability community and give back where I can.

Skills I Want to Learn:
We are passionate about eating and living organically, and that this is one pathway to healing the earth. We want to both learn and contribute to re-wilding society's diet/movement/lifestyle, and supporting & promoting locally owned small businesses with a similar philosophy. As we are travelling in our fully self-contained bus-home, we have no need for accommodation, only space to park, and the opportunity to exchange our gifts and labour.

We joined wwoofing as an opportunity to learn more about organic farming and other skills and to meet people who are doing this. We want to contribute to the world around us and not just consume. We love growing our own food and being outdoors. We also want to teach our children the importance of growing your own food, caring for the land and working together with others to create amazing things!

We would love to experience WWOOF-ing for a variety of reasons: 1. We love being outside and being active! We are so blessed to be healthy and to have this time with our kids, and we would love to experience farm work with them. 2. We love learning new skills! Neither of us has much farm experience, and we want to model for our kids that we're always learning and growing. 3. We look forward to meeting WWOOF hosts and creating lasting family friendships. 4. As a traveling family of four, we are constantly looking for ways to stick to our budget and be smart with our spending. If we can exchange farm work for accommodation and meet locals in the process, that's a win-win!

Skills I Want to Learn:
Because I want to work with animals, in nature, do gardening or other work. I also want to learn English, to admire the beauty of the country, kindness of people, discovery of another culture, etc. for me and my son Louis.

I've always been interested in living off the land and one day would like to have a go a semi self sufficiency myself. I'm not sure if Darwin is the place to do this because of the poor soils, very dry Drys and the sometimes torrential Wets. I did two WWOOFing placements in the US and enjoyed it very much.

I'm joining WWOOF to hopefully get some experience on what farm life is like, learn new skills and hopefully make it more common in my life as there must be more to life then  what I'm currently doing now . Also meeting like minded people is very appealing. Working for board and lodging is very appealing and makes seeing more of my country a reality. speak to hosts and work out the social side of stuff required as well as possibly becoming a host!

I have done a couple of contracts in rural Queensland and would love to have the opportunity to see more of Australia. The more I see, the more diverse I realise this continent is!

I will be in Melbourne for an international swim meet with my US teammates from 2/22 to 2/25. I will arrive in Melbourne from the US on 2/19 and was hoping to find a place to wwoof from 2/19 am to 2/21 pm (and possibly 2/23 to 2/24) while there. Staying and working on a farm interests me more than spending time in a city and I am interested to learn how other farms are managed. It is unfortunate the stays will be short, but I am happy to work full days while wwoofing to make the stay worth your while.

I have previously WWOOFed in France and always enjoy visiting my rural friends where days are often spent working alongside them on gardening and building projects. I am currently considering options for moving to the country and find that you can't beat the experience of living in communities to learn more about them. I joined WWOOF Australia to further develop my skills by being directly involved in regenerative agriculture and permaculture projects.

As I said in my profile, I want to go back to nature and I love the concept of wwoofing. The idea to share activities with people in this way is just a dream. It will be also an Opportunity for me to discover Australia and to improve my English. A friend of mine did it and she told me that it was the best experience ever.

We joined WWOOF to experience the real Australia and learn more about the different cultures. Will be fulfilling helping out on the farms and gaining life experiences, Meeting new friends along the way while doing our part making the world a better and cleaner place. We’re not shy to get our hands dirty doing a hard days work all while learning new experiences and enjoying the outdoors.
