City/Town: Bathurst
Farming Methods: Biodynamic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home, Separate Building, BYO Accommodation
Orchard cottage is located on the old orchard that belonged to Woollstone, which is an historic settlers homestead and is attached to Broombee Estate. Broombee is an aboriginal name meaning "Big Noise". I am an artist and illustrate books as well as paint landscapes. I have a vegetable garden which needs lots of love and care, and a formal English garden and would love some help with my flower beds and herb gardens there. Bathurst is a very safe place in Summer, a long way from Summer bushfires as we are in an open plains area, without too much bush. Our property is not too far from town, only a 20 minute walk. Internet and mobile phone coverage available, Wi Fi in every room. We can pick you up from Rail station by arrangement. In Winter we have open fires and central heating. Toasting marshmallows anyone? Accommodation for two couples and or three singles. We enjoy our WWOOFers. See you soon.

City/Town: Buffalo
Farming Methods: Permaculture
Accommodation Type: In Our Home, Separate Building, BYO Accommodation
All Foods Farm is situated in Buffalo, South Gippsland , Victoria. The farm has been operating since 2004 and is run on sustainable agriculture and permaculture principles, with emphasis on organically grown, fresh produce. As sustainable property we grow a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, mostly as older styles and heritage varieties. With a mixed orchard of apples, pears, stone fruits and berries we supply our customers with fresh, seasonal produce that they rarely get to experience when shopping at any large scale supermarket. In the picking season for fruit we attend local Farmers markets. Our current project is establishing our shop frontage directly from the property.  We are a bit more than a hobby farm, but not quite  a commercial farm.
