Hi, we are are family run hobby farm in south west australia. Our beautiful 100 acres are hidden away in the beautiful forests near Pemberton. We are passionate about co-creating with nature to fuel her abundance and nurture the land we are blessed to be a part of. The land has 5 cottages too that require general maintanace and care. We are easy going, generous, fun and a little alternative!. We also love to travel, ski, surf and boat and explore. We do not live on the property but have a manager who does and we visit regularly from our home an hour away. We will be raising animals in the near future, planting orchards and regenerating a vegetable patch. We are passionate about organic farming practices and leaving little impact on the earth.

City/Town: Hallett SA 5419
Farming Methods: Organic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home, Separate Building, Tent
Mt Yibbi Tiny Farm is four acres of mostly established olive trees in Hallett, a small town on the Barrier Highway in the Mid North, South Australia. Hallett is a true Australian tiny town on the edge of the bush, surrounded by (sometimes snow-capped!) mountains with one pub and a general store and a beautiful public pool and very friendly locals. Hallett is at the centre of three trails - Heysen, Mawson and Dare's Hill Drive. Currently being regenerated using permaculture principles, there are various plots and plantings and experiments occurring and room for many more. Mt Yibbi is the Ngadjuri name for Mt Bryan, which is visible from the back paddock, along with the best sunsets. The farm is being developed as an Artist's Retreat and there is a library and musical instruments and visual art and plenty of scope for creative expression. Hallett is close to the Clare Valley and Barossa Wine regions, and half way between Ikara-Flinders Ranges and the city of Adelaide, which are both an easy three hours in either direction Boss J Clark is the super friendly farm puppy and there is are rabbits, hares and foxes who visit the farm, along with Mama and Joey kangaroo and an echidna, and all the birds you could want. There are sheep who live across the road, where mobs of kangaroos and emus run. There is a sunroom/office to watch the animals from with pretty good internet as well as a couch and Netflix and a PS4. The farm offers a range of comfy accommodation: a big farmhouse, a partly renovated cottage, swags with a seasonal bonfire.

Located in a beautiful secluded valley within the mountains in Upper Orara, 13 kms from Coffs Harbour- a 100 acre paradise with a stunning 6 bedroom, 2 storey owner-built (me) mud-brick home including an adjoining 2 bedroom flat. A new B & B separate building under construction, only one bedroom ready now. A creek & dam stocked with Silver Perch fish, 5 cattle & 1 Quarter Horse. More cattle coming. The farm has been organic for 36 years and has much potential for growing organic fruit & vegetables with an established garden. Good manners, good attitude to the philosophy of WWOOFing is essential. (Which basically means we help each other and learn better ways to live on this planet.) Experienced in farm work would be helpful. Any carpenters, plumbers or mechanics are very welcome. I have been told many times that I am the best WWOOFer cook/chef hostess, I like to spoil my WWOOFers with nutritious and very yummy food. Organic beef grown here on the farm and fish caught from the dam on the farm or in the sea. (Fun fishing lessons on the beach.) City/Town: Bathurst
Farming Methods: Biodynamic
Accommodation Type: In Our Home, Separate Building, BYO Accommodation
Orchard cottage is located on the old orchard that belonged to Woollstone, which is an historic settlers homestead and is attached to Broombee Estate. Broombee is an aboriginal name meaning "Big Noise". I am an artist and illustrate books as well as paint landscapes. I have a vegetable garden which needs lots of love and care, and a formal English garden and would love some help with my flower beds and herb gardens there. Bathurst is a very safe place in Summer, a long way from Summer bushfires as we are in an open plains area, without too much bush. Our property is not too far from town, only a 20 minute walk. Internet and mobile phone coverage available, Wi Fi in every room. We can pick you up from Rail station by arrangement. In Winter we have open fires and central heating. Toasting marshmallows anyone? Accommodation for two couples and or three singles. We enjoy our WWOOFers. See you soon.
