Meet Bridgette & Antony, they are a busy family of 5 who rent a beautiful homestead about 1 hours drive from Canberra and 4hrs drive from Sydney and have been WWOOF Hosts for 2 years. They are currently designing a new home, which we plan to build on our own land, nearby.
When you WWOOF with the Cathles you will learn to make your own cheese, beer, bread, creams and soap, and of course there is lots to do in their vegetable and orchard gardens.
They also also run a cheese making workshop at nearby Athelington Homestead, Wee Jasper.
When WWOOFers come to stay we ask they assist with all food preparation as we believe this is a great time to get together and have fun.
Their land is 600 acres and has sheep adjisted on it by a local farmer. The beautiful Goodradigbee River runs through their land.
