I had the best time at Craig’s place. Such an amazing environment with lots of animals and never a dull moment. I met so many cool people and it’s an experience I won’t ever forget. What a wonderful stay with Linda and Phil! They were both very welcoming and kind, treated me like family. The accommodation was very comfortable with the option of staying in the beautiful cabin or a private room in the house- both fantastic options. The work each day was varied and enriching. I was able to learn so many new skills that I haven't had the opportunity to explore before this experience: driving a tractor and lawn mower, using a wood splitter, building a gravel road and rock wall, moving cattle, tending the veggie garden, caring for indigenous plants, etc. They are both extremely knowledgeable and open minded, and all of our conversations were so engaging! Linda is also a wonderful cook- you definitely will not go hungry! Thank you for the experience, skills, and new ways of thinking that I can carry on throughout my life..

It was wonderful to have Camille to join me for three weeks on my property in Old Beach. She came with a wealth of knowledge and experience with growing and using herbs. Camille approached all the tasks with enthusiasm and focus and enjoyed working in the garden and assisting with the bees. Shared meals in the evenings allowed for further conversation and learning. I highly recommend Camille as a skilled WWOOFer and she will be welcomed in my house any time.

We had an insanely good time at Nat's! Nat is so relaxed and kept giving us delicious food even though we were being self sufficient. It was really a holiday with a couple hours mulching and gardening mornings. In a week she included us in a sunset picnic, movie night out and a bonfire. Agnes Water is a dream. Thanks for having us and can't wait to be back.

Retha, Heine and their family were fantastic hosts, We stayed for 2 weeks, mainly helping to feed the chickens, collect eggs (which you are welcome to help yourself to for breakfast), bottling fresh milk (best milk I’ve ever tasted!), feed the dogs, cats, a bit of gardening, some fencing, and later on helping with the horses and mini horses. You will be made to feel like part of the family, we each had our own room which was very cozy. Retha is a phenomenal cook and was very accommodating with my vegetarian diet, everything was homemade and even made us some of their South African cuisine. We would work in the morning until noonish then have our afternoons free. They are very close to the beautiful town of Esperance and all the stunning beaches. Do not hesitate to stay with Retha and Heine, you will be safe, treated with respect, and enjoy a real farm experience with lots to learn from both of them. 🙂

Spending time with Gianni was really wonderful! he was always energetic and kind to me when I couldn’t speak English well. He wants to make a habitat for mainly birds, so most of work at his place is connected to protecting them. It was very interesting! I learned a lot of things about permaculture like chain of ponds, so I felt that I want to make use of this experience in my future life. Having great meals by the fire, cycling and seeing a koala are precious memories for me. I hope we can meet again. I'm really grateful to him for his help! Thank you Gianni!

We recently hosted our WWOOFer for 4 weeks. It was wet weather for approximately half of his stay so the activities varied between indoor and outdoor. Using hand and power tools to assist building a tool rack and also assembling storage shelves was done on rainy days, as was painting. Outdoor tasks included moving sand bags to raised garden beds, mulching garden beds, fence construction as well as digging and transplanting trees. Quentin was a good worker with initiative and an eye for detail. He was a polite and easy person to interact with and is recommended to WWOOFer hosts.

Tony and Gayl are some of the highest quality hosts. They put great planning into ensuring it was a fantastic stay for me, and I greatly appreciated all the time and energy they put into being excellent hosts. Delicious food, varied tasks, thoughtful conversations. It was an impactful learning experience for me; they share so many lessons about self-sufficiency, natural building, and general maintenance tasks required to live on a property like this out in the bush. They live in a very beautiful part of Victoria and I feel so lucky to have found such a great place to spend a few weeks. Thank you again so much!

Best host in Australia!!!! Guys, I absolutely recommend you come and stay at Dawn's. Very friendly family farm with many flowers and vegetables/fruits. The work is very flexible, and you can easily arrange things with Dawn. Every Saturday, Dawn and her daughters open their small market where nearly 150 people come to drink coffee and do their shopping. You will also be able to meet the horse owners, as Dawn rents her land. Finally, and most importantly, you will have an incredible time with Dawn, David and Natalie, you will eat divinely well and enjoy the surroundings! Dawn is fantastic and loves to share Australian customs. The little vintage caravan you will sleep in is superb! Don't hesitate!

Sheila and her partner Marc are lovely people with a cozy and peaceful place. I got to help with some building, gardening, and planting garlic. The food was great, and the company was even better. First things first, this was our first WWOOFING Farm. Robyn and Luke are two really lovely people, living offgrid. There s a lot off different stuff to do, eg. we did fencing for orchards, gardening and sometimes taking care of the chickens and the dog. The working climate is a very chill one, we had two days off, and a lot of short breaks. But still working hard 😉 We had fun evenings with them, playing board games or just chats about all sorts of things. If you want insight on how to live offgrid on a smaller farm, with caring people, we highly recommend them.

As a family we WWOOFed at Fiona`s and Alan´s wonderful place. Both are fantastic hosts. We got quite a bit of work done, but it was important to our hosts that we explored the surrounding area and took breaks. We slept wonderful, ate well, and enjoyed the view, the peace and quiet. Fiona´s experiments for the kids with playdough and soap have become part of our WWOOFing history. We would go back anytime. It was a wonderful, beautiful time at this peaceful australian place.

I spent 2 weeks at Lone Pine Farm, and I must say this has been the best WWOOFing experience I’ve had so far! It felt more like a guided adventure than just typical farm work. Bruce made every task fun, and I genuinely enjoyed being on the farm. The days were filled with unique activities—sitting on a giant pumpkin pile during a tractor ride, speeding through ute rides, canoeing down the river, and even a nighttime kangaroo safari. So many unforgettable moments! I also loved the evenings playing card games and watching trivia shows with Susan, and having Marley as my afternoon nap buddy. Also… the food! I’m convinced I’ve gained weight from all the delicious meals and those addictive cookies that kept calling out to me 😂 I’m truly grateful to Bruce and Susan for taking such wonderful care of me during my stay. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly into your home and lives. Would 100% recommend to any WWOOFer looking for a homely, meaningful and memorable stay! ☺️

My experience with Angela and Rachael has been one the best while Wwoofing, they are generous, kind and always eager to talk and tell you about the community, the aboriginal culture and the various festivals and must do's of the region. They both are great cooks and you will have the impression of eating at a 5 star restaurant all while having a good laugh and fascinating conversations. The tasks might involve helping the famous local landscaper/gardener Geoff Miers with whom I worked with for 4 of 5 days total, he will take you on his typical day, harvesting saplings around a mother tree (like a ghost gum) and other bushes and plants, repotting them, weeding, cutting branches and racking a clients garden that needs some love, taking care of Alice Springs trees, taking cuttings from various plants and planting them, help drawing a new landscape design for one of the many projects Geoff has and more! Geoff is a great teacher and I acquired a lot of knowledge on the local plants, their latin names and what it takes to have a nursery! This is only a snippet of everything I got to experience here, they are amazing hosts in a beautiful region, 100% recommend.

Lexie was with us for two weeks. She got through so many jobs in that time, including: making a big hot compost; pruning and mulching the prunings; clearing away an old fence; care of our chickens, pigs and sheep; assisting with the despatch and dressing of chickens; and helping us with our annual salumi/charcuterie weekend. The last one requires dependable and competent help, with long hours and a lot of drudge work, and she was brilliant. Lexie is diligent, adaptable, and reliable, and also tidy with tools and in the house. Not to mention great company, and we enjoyed many good discussions and laughs, Highly recommended! Lexie - you are welcome back any time, and we hope to have the chance to see you again!

My woofing with Michael was very interested, the location is gorgeous, Michael is Kind, During my 4 weeks I had all what I needed. with Michael I realised differents activities : - Collect wood in forest - Cut wood - Creation of a pathway - Construction of fence - Preparation of the soil for Grappe - And other job In fact, the job were various, Often Michael offer me independance and freedom in the realisation of the differents jobs. Heather, Dave, and Sue have something quite special at Winmurra. It's about as far off the grid as we have ever been, but nestled amongst the gum trees and scrub is a fantastic example of how to live that way. The three homesteaders are incredibly welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable about pioneer living, and they give their time and hospitality in spades. We started every morning on the sunny veranda with yoghurt, oats, and fresh fruit from the garden (half of which we'd never heard of, but all of it we liked), a total highlight. We got to try many different things, including working in their incredible food forest with weeding and mulching, and we also got to help out with some construction work. Dave taught us everything about systems for living off grid, how to use an electric chainsaw, and about different kinds of gum trees. They encouraged us to explore the surrounding areas every day and showed us some amazing spots, including Ellenborough Falls (magical). If you're looking to learn how to grow your own, fix your own, build your own, or just meet some lovely and hospitable folks, we can't recommend Winmurra enough. We hope we can get back there sometime!

Cristina is a total explosion of passion, energy, humor, and kindness. She’s always onto new adventures and projects, and manages to handle an incredible workload with a constant smile on her lips. She taught us everything there is to know about different kinds of weed, cattle, and barbed wire fencing with great patience and enthusiasm. Every day was a different location, and by the time we left, we felt that we had developed some practical skills, which made the whole thing even more satisfying. One of the highlights was definitely the cooking class with Nonna, we love her, her personality is just as amazing as her daughter’s. She taught us all her tricks for making the best Italian meatballs. The whole family is incredibly welcoming, warm, and fun to be around. We definitely felt like a part of the family as soon as we stepped through the door. Cristina was such an amazing host, and we can’t recommend her enough. You’re a bloody star mate!

I spent 5 days with Sean and Beth. It was my first WWOOFing experience, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. A truly lovely family, who make you feel at home and serve incredible and varied meals. Regarding the work, I had a great time from the first to the last day. Being able to share their culture and profession was incredible. The animals are very friendly and playful. I'll come back one day, I'm sure of it.
