Andrew and Karen Williamson
Beautiful 300 acre farm which we run wool sheep, alpaca, house cows, horses, chickens and bees. Although we’ve been farming all our lives, we’ve only been on this farm for a few years so we are still setting up. In addition to looking after the farm and animals we are growing vegetables and setting up an orchard to be self sufficient.
We love our farming lifestyle and are always looking to enjoy and improve our farm. We are very interested in regenerative agriculture, low footprint systems, revegetation, water health, low to no chemicals, soil health and low stress stock handling. We love having people to stay that are interested in joining in and being a part of whats happening on the farm.
We do have some huts for you to stay in or you’re welcome to bring your own caravan, tent etc.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We’ve had WWOOFers and nomads in the past and have enjoyed their company and enthusiasm. We love farming and enjoy sharing our ideas and days with people interested in what we’re doing. We believe this is a wonderful lifestyle and are happy to share with others. We also enjoy meeting and learning about other people .

Organic/Biological methods we use

We use minimal to no chemicals, we look for strategies to build topsoil in our paddocks, look to use natural methods in the gardens and with the animals. We aim for achieving healthy to reduce the need for treatments and applications.
