Our lavender farm is about an hour from Newcastle (by train or bus), or three hours from Sydney (by train). We grow a variety of lavender cultivars for essential oil distillation and dried bouquets, and we’ve spent the last five years regenerating our soil using organic and sustainable farming practices.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

It is great to share our beautiful farm and our passion about lavender and farming with WWOOFers who are keen to learn farming skills, practice English skills (English as a second language teacher host), and enjoy an Australian farming experience!

Organic/Biological methods we use

We use regenerative soil methods by adding hay, mushroom compost, manure etc. to improve the soil consistency. We hand weed (and steam weed) to avoid the use of chemicals).
