We had a good first WOOFing experience at Bron and Rays. Bron showed us how to make sourdough bread, we learned lots about the plants in the garden and we could even do some horse back riding on one of the boarding horses. Bron took us to the beach and some nice spots around town and Ray, thank you for sharing your art with us and all your helpful tips and showing us how to handle the brush cutter. We will think about you when we have a coffee! Thank you for sharing your stories with us, it’s very inspiring how you live and how you maintain such a beautiful place. This was my first wwoofing in Australia, and I'm so happy I got to do it at Bron and Ray's place. They gave me a different experience every day. They were familiar with Japan, where I'm from, and understood Japanese food and culture. On the last morning, I made a simple Japanese food for them, it became a very special memory for me. Their place is close to nature, so I could a lot of wildlifes like kangaroos and wallabies. The time I spent there really made me relax. Even though my English skills are awful, they always spoke in a way that was easy for me to understand. I appreciate it. Thank you so much for everything, Bron and Ray!

Ray and Bron are so kind and gentle. Bron was a very good teacher and taught me not only English, but also many other things about Australian animals, life, politics, etc. in careful and easy-to-understand English. I had an amazing time with Bron & Ray! Both are super nice, open, welcoming and created the most delicious dishes I have eaten so far! I worked with them for 6 days 4 1/2 hours a week and on my day off they took me to incredibly cool places like Phillip Island and the regional bays. My tasks in the vegetable garden was focused on preparation of the beds for the tomatoes including weeding, composting, planting the seedlings and covering the gardens with netting. I learned a lot during my time with them and will miss my time there!

It was very fortunate for me to begin my first wwoofing experience with Bron and Ray. They are warm, considerate people, and I enjoyed all of the time we spent together. Their farm is the perfect place for beginners as they always provided clear instructions on the work and were always willing to teach me farming skills. Their diet is also healthy and magnificent, as they make every kind of vegan meal with ingredients they grew themselves. Their farm is located near the beautiful town of Inverloch, which allowed me to explore after work. I also appreciate them taking me to places where I could explore and experience Australian nature! Being at Bron and Ray house have been an incredible experience. During my stay I learned a lot about way different things, gardening, cooking, sustainable way of living, english, history of the country… What’s more working in their property was very interesting and enriching . They teached us how to take care of the nature and how to collaborate with it. They spent a lot of times with us by showing different places such as Philippe Island, the Eagle Nest or even a beach with dinosaur footprints! But I think that this journey was special, because of them. My favorite moments of each days, were this good meals served with jokes, stories, musics and learning. Sharing times with them make you think about the passed, the present and the futur. Thank you for those talks, those knowledges and those funny moments. I’ve been so lucky to have my first WWOOFING experience at Bron and Ray’s wonderful place. They are wonderful people full of knowledge and beautiful stories that they’ll share with you. We had a great time staying with Bron and Ray. It was our first time WWOOF’ing and it couldn’t have been better. They have a big property in beautiful surroundings. Our work varied every day and was mostly in the garden out front. It was amazing to see the difference when we left after a week. They made delicious meals and everything is mostly homegrown/homemade. Ray showed us around Philip Island, which was really nice. After work we could take the bikes and explore a little more. I had a lovely time with Bron & Ray and I highly recommend WWOOFing with them. I was welcomed straight away and given a tour of their property, the fruit & veg in their garden is plentiful and tasted amazing (Lemon Guava’s in particular). I tried foods I’d never even heard of and the Vegan Meals Bron & Ray prepared were absolutely fantastic! Their property is in a beautiful part of Victoria with amazing wildlife and lovely horses. Ray & Bron are fantastic hosts with lots to teach and have great recommendations for onward travel. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and hope to see them again soon!

I am sorry for that way too late review. I stayed a theire place in I think june for 2 weeks. It was a awesome stay. Not just the bathroom with the fern trees, the hole property is amazing. Working in the garden was always fun with a lot of really curious birds. After work we sometimes did some little trip along the coast, a daily trip to phillips island or I could borrow a bike. Or sometimes just staying in front of the fireplace🥶. (I listened to you and went to darwin, it was a good advice haha). But yeah it was amazing, thank you again for giving me the contacts to a friend where I could stay when you were on a trip and in general thank you that I could stay with you. And I guess I have to come back to see the dinosaur footprints🥳have a good time Jakob

I stayed for about 2 weeks and it was a great place. Bron and Ray are very kind, nice, and great hosts. Foods are made from vegetables harvested from their garden, and they were very delicious. I learned a lot from their lifestyle. I was able to experience many kinds of of works ! Around their house, you could see many animals such as koalas, kangaroos, opossums and copperheads. Bron and Ray happend to be my first WWOOFing experince I've ever had - and I could not have asked for a better one. They are both so lovely, warm-hearted and caring persons, who travelled themselves a lot. Therefore they have to share a tone of interesting and exciting stories and perspectives. They hosted me for 2 1/2 weeks during Christmas and I am so thankful that the whole family welcomed me in such a affectionated way. I was also both impressed as well as inspired by their way of living - growing veggies and fruits, being sustainable and more conscious about the own footprint and their healthy, organic and vegan (not only) meals. Always prepared together and with a lots of love. 🙂 Thanks for all the wonderful recipes, ideas and impulses you have shared with me. I would definitely recommend to stay with them and rate them a 10 stars, if that would be possible.

Bronwyn and Ray  are one of the most wonderful people, i have ever met. It is their way of thinking, how they live and how they appreciate everyone. I got enormously inspired by them. Also there was always something going on at their place./they showed us many places in their surroundings. And i loved working in their garden. You can learn so much about gardening. Bronwyn and Ray had answers to all my hundreds of questions. And also you feel like being in a paradise at there place, because nature wildlife surrounds them. there is also a close beach, and the town of Inverloch, which you can reach easy with the bikes they lend you. I would always go back. It was much more than only a WWOOF experience for me. It is a memory i will never forget.

Our stay with Bron and Ray was a great experience. We learned a lot about gardening, placing fences, cooking different kinds of food and vegan food. Every meal we made with Bron or Ray was a feast. We also got some nice (vegan) ricepes we can use in the future. Working days start at 8 AM and finish around 12.30 - 01 PM, followed by lunch together. The rest of the afternoon you can relax at home or at Inverloch were you can go in 10 min with the bikes you can use. The accomodation was really good with a private bedroom, clean bathroom and a washing machine to use. We had a lot of fun with a very friendly family! Totally recommended! Sacha & Jana
