We have 2 properties of 30 acres each, one on the beach and another 5 kms from the beach. We have horses, chooks, ducks, 2cats and a dog.
Being part of the family is a big part of being a WWOOFng host for us. Our kids are now teenagers and like playing games, chatting, and playing music with the WWOOFers.
Volunteering includes looking after animals; working the horses (an interest in horses is preferred), general garden, house; property maintenance and helping to remove noxious weeds.
Accommodation for female WWOOFer, 1 person at a time, in our home or BYO. Mixed diet. No smoking inside. WWOOFers MUST give 2 weeks advance notice to stay. Min stay is 4 weeks.
Buses from Melbourne via Warrnambool / Port Fairy go past our front gate twice a day. Negotiable stays after initial visit.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
Over 20 years ago I was a wwoofer in the Kimberly’s. It was a fantastic experience and I wish I had known about the program in the 90’s when I travelled around Europe and the UK.
I really liked the idea of being able to open our home to young adults that are as passionate about horses and gardening as we are and to give them the opportunity to experience having horses in the back garden and being able to eat produce directly from the garden.
We love meeting new wwoofers and hearing about their travels and learning about their lives in their home country and the foods they eat.
