Why I became a WWOOF Host

Over 20 years ago I was a wwoofer in the Kimberly’s. It was a fantastic experience and I wish I had known about the program in the 90’s when I travelled around Europe and the UK.

I really liked the idea of being able to open our home to young adults that are as passionate about horses and gardening as we are and to give them the opportunity to experience having horses in the back garden and being able to eat produce directly from the garden.

We love meeting new wwoofers and hearing about their travels and learning about their lives in their home country and the foods they eat.
