Small Bio-dynamic property on a half acre, in beautiful artistic Deloraine, living and gardening for food and beauty in harmony with nature. Vegetable garden, orchard, herbs, ornamental garden, hothouse, geese, beekeeping with natural Lazutin hive, solar, sustainable building projects restoring old barn, maintenance, artistic projects and two magical geese called Sasha & Lube. I sometimes look after greyhounds after sharing life with beautiful Audrey pictured.
Good place to learn about Bio-dynamics. Seasonal & joyful work: gardening, harvesting, preserving, fermenting, artistic projects, building and home maintenance. I am an artist, embodied dance & meditation teacher (I’ve taken a pause from teaching since 2020). Restoring old barn, has mostly been repainted & working inside on it now, re-purposing of materials. Especially appreciate hosting wwoofers who have some building/handyman skills.
I love spending time in nature, hikes, cold water swimming in rivers & ocean & surfing, you are welcome to accompany me.
Happy to host WWOOFers who are working or studying remotely, I am sometimes able to host longer term WWOOFers so if you are looking for a home in a beautiful community, alongside your work or study, please be in contact. I prefer initial contact via message/email & sometimes like to do a Facetime call to meet.
Look forward to hear from you,
Stephanie

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I’ve done lots of WWOOFing around the world and appreciate connecting with people to learn about their lifestyle and place they live to be a ‘tourist’ in a different way. I learnt a lot about gardening this way.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge of biodynamics and gardening, natural lifestyle and I enjoy the cultural exchange. We all have something to learn and share with each other, it’s what makes the world magical.

Organic/Biological methods we use
Biodynamic, organic, good soil management, permaculture techniques. Working with nature, plants are left to go to seed for flowers for the bees, collect seed for saving, self-seeding. Practise deeply listening to nature, being guided by her.
Minimal cultivation of soil for soil health. Collection of manures for compost, seaweed/seagrass is collected from the beach for compost and mulch.
Biodynamic 500 is used, cow pat pit and compost preparations. The way I garden is more about observation, listening and letting nature share her wise ways while having fun along the way.
