Full Property Description
Our property is 600 acres, with 300 acres of it being farmed with goats, sheep, alpacas, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats and dogs and wildlife. The other 300 acres we open to private campers for farm stay. Our main business within the farm is farming goats to sell to restaurants and markets. We have around 4, 000 guests per year stay with us. We have two homes which we rent out, plus tiny homes, and campsites. We also now do contract fencing on other properties, and work with Big Tiny. Our community is beautiful, and we’d love to show you around. Our local township has a lovely pub, cafe and milk bar. Our nearest larger town, about 10 minutes away, has all major shops and restaurants. We have wineries and breweries which are worth the visit and a one hour train ride straight into the Melbourne City.
Our days are very varied, something different every day. We will need your help with a wide range of things, but not limited to – fencing, markets, animal husbandry, animal herding, feeding animals, cleaning and refilling water troughs, clean and organize sheds, gardening, cutting grass, cutting fire wood, cutting campfire wood, burning off and general farm assistance.

Organic/Biological methods we use
We use no chemicals or toxic materials. We rotate the goats to different paddocks to allow the grass to regrow.
- We sometimes have to move in and out of our house to allow guests to stay there, so we will camp and have BBQ’s and campfires. We hope to give you your own tiny house.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We are a busy family and in the past have enjoyed hosting over 15 aupairs. We love the cultural experience and we can sure use the help. Our three boys are now teenagers and also help out on the farm. Our business is growing and we would like to share this experience with other like minded, energetic young people.
