1.5 acre rural property halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I have recently planted many fruit trees and I want some help transforming the property into a productive haven where all food is grown organically.
I have planted several varieties of avocados, lemons, mandarins, grapefruit, oranges, apples, bananas, mulberry’s & fejoa, and they are starting to bear fruit.
A couple of happy chickens that lay plenty of eggs.
Lots of varied work around the property. Plenty of weeding, planting, whipper snipping, mowing, composting and general gardening work.
I have a few specific projects I want help with. I want to make some rock edging around the fruit trees and mulch around the trees to protect the roots. I want to make a fern garden by the house also.
I have some inside jobs like painting also, so if you have painting experience, that would be viewed favourably 🙂
A pool to relax in summer, and a spa in the winter. Gym onsite if you fancy doing some exercise, dumbbells, bench, rowing machine, olympic rings, large trampoline. Flexible working arrangements. If you want to work for a while and then have some time off to explore the area, I am absolutely fine with that by arrangement.
I will take you shopping when you arrive and let you buy the food you want, so you can be in control of your diet and eat the foods you like. I want you to be comfortable and feel at home.
Jimboomba is about 7 minutes drive away, where you can get the bus to Brisbane, and Yarabillba is about 13 minutes drive, where you can also get a bus to Brisbane or the Gold Coast. I am happy to pick you up or drop you off when needed. A friendly dog and an energetic 6 year old to keep you company and entertained 🙂
I am patient and happy to help you with your English or your CV if you are looking for work.
I want to create win-win outcomes with all my guests.
Thanks.
