    Short Property Description

The property comprises 100 acres of pristine sand dunes and native bush overlooking Wauraltee Beach – excellent for swimming, walking, rowing, cycling & fishing in leisure time.

The property also has kangaroos, wombats, birds, etc. We have obtained some advice from a nearby aboriginal community regarding native foods. The property has several thousand quandong trees. Quandong fruit sells for $70/kg and is prized for jams, tarts and as a superfood.

Volunteering includes collection of fruit (seasonal), assistance with property maintenance such as fire protection near buildings, etc.

Prefer WWOOFers to have their own vehicle to get to and from the property.

Accommodation for 3 within our home. Shared meals, mixed diet. No children. No smoking on property. Initial stays 3-5 days, longer stays neg.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

The main reason we joined was for the extra help in hands with work on the property and to share our property with others. We also love meeting people and the interaction we get with different people we meet, I am multi lingual and enjoy the conversation i can have with others.
