Mark and Ronnie Hemmett
We live on 176 acres purchased in 1975, situated at the end of a valley and the end of the road. Chinaman’s Creek begins on the property.
We follow organic and permaculture principles. Work varies with what we are doing and can include gardening, pruning, weeding, fencing, sometimes help with renovations.
Prefer if Wwoofers have own transport and accommodation – eg van/motor home etc. Some simple accommodation can be available.
Negotiable stays after initial visit, but ideally, we would prefer a couple or a small group of friends. Self-sufficient is good.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We have been hosts for since 1975 and have had many amazing experiences.. We originally found out about WWOOF through Grass Roots or Earth Garden Magazines. It has been a great way to meet people from many countries. We don’t have mob reception, but mobile calls/ messages/Internet access etc is via Starlink.
