My son and I had the best time with Neil and Maria! We felt instantly welcomed and at ease with them! They both took the time to teach not only myself but also my son new skills and we learnt all about edible plants and tried some new ones! We were extremely blessed to have two weeks on their property and are so thankful for the time there! Xx

When I think back on my two weeks with Neil and Maria Page, I feel extremely grateful because it fed my need to share, to learn, to find peace and tranquillity. During those two weeks I learnt permaculture techniques, I learnt to recognise which weeds are harmful and which are not, I learnt how to sow and plant, taking care of the roots of the plants, I learnt how to enrich the mulch with elements that allow the plants to grow better. Maria and Neil are extremely kind and gentle people. Being with them and working in their garden gave me a lot of peace and tranquillity. Thank you so much Maria and Neil.

I don't know, why my review didn't get posted, but Maria and Neil were so kind to take me and my boyfriend spontaneously as wwoofers for the last days of our Australia trip in August 2024. We both immediately felt so heartly welcomed by these two lovely people and loved the cozy camping space they offered us. They did not only teach us a lot about permaculture and syntropic gardening on their beautiful property (there is so much cool stuff to learn!) but also about life and love. Although it was only a short term stay, they inspired us a lot and we are really grateful that they did let us be part of their lives. Inspired by Maria I even started my own Kombucha brewing at home! We wish you all the best! Cheers Julie & Konstantin

Maria and Neil are lovely hosts! I stayed with them for 2 weeks in their farm and worked in their permaculture garden (weeding, mulching, planting and doing some hot compost) and also helping with other projects for the dry-toilet. The accommodation is fantastic, I had a cottage for myself with a kitchen and bathroom so was really nice. During my stay I got the opportunity to meet some local friends of them in their birthdays having some dirnks around a fire 🙂 Thanks guys, I wish you all the best!!

I stayed with Neil and Maria for 9 days and they were lovely. Both of them were calm, warm, and patient. It was my first wwoofing experience and they made sure I was comfortable. The tasks were communicated clearly and manageable. They were knowledgeable and you could tell they loved what they were doing in their garden. They took good care of me and I learned a lot as well.

I spend 3 weeks with Maria and Neil and it was an amazing wwoofing experience. The working hours were fair and they always made sure to give me interesting and varied tasks to do. The cottage I stayed in was just perfect and I had great fun preparing lunches with Maria. Maria and Neil taught me a lot and they‘re both wonderful people. I miss you already and I wish you all the best for your future!

We stayed with Neil and Maria for a week and had a lovely time. They're both wonderful hosts, very gentle souls who are kind and patient teachers and have lots of experience with WWOOFers. We worked weekdays, between 7am and 12pm, with a morning tea break in between. Neil and Maria are very considerate and make sure you have the afternoon off to explore and with the cosy cottage they provide, you also have your own separate space. I particularly enjoyed spending time with Maria in the kitchen on the rainier days, learning how to make new things like kombucha, arrowroot cake, mango chutney and how to dehydrate moringa (a superfood we'd never heard of). We also enjoyed working with Neil, including learning how to use the mulching machine and assisting with the woodshed building. We loved trying foods containing native plants (salads picked fresh from the garden, which were all new to us), plus Maria is a great cook, so we always enjoyed meal times. The lovely Noosa Heads National park and various lookouts are roughly 30mins drive away, so we also got to do some great exploring whilst staying there. This has been the WWOOF placement we're we've learnt the most at and we will have great memories of our time there. Thank you Neil and Maria for being such wonderful hosts! Keep in touch 🙂

I cannot recommend Neil and Maria’s property enough! I stayed at their farm for about 10 days. They are such a lovely, generous, welcoming, knowledgeable couple. They have such a beautiful garden which has lots of lovely vegetable, herbs and fruits with using permaculture and biodynamic farming way. It was the best garden I've ever seen. They were always trying to make my stay better and they took me to many places such as community music concert. There were variety of jobs you can experience and Neil is such a wonderful teacher. You can learn a lot from him. I'm sure you will love Maria's food as well! Maria is amazing chef and I loved everything she made --- nourishing dinner, homemade bread, cupcakes, rosella jam and so on! I hope I can come back again sometime soon!

I stayed at the farm for 12 days with my sister and her boyfriend. They have a big property with a lovely permaculture fruit and vegetable garden. We learned a lot about the permaculture gardening and even built a permaculture compost which was our highlight. We worked from 7 till 12.30 with a tea break in between and had Saturday and Sunday off. Where we went to the national park and beach in Noosa, which is such a great town.

Neil and Maria are lovely , welcoming, and earth loving people who have developed a permaculture garden suited to their tropical situation. Working with them means a range of tasks including weeding, mulching, pruning and planting. They are knowledgeable about tropical perennial plants and foods, permaculture methods, and biodynamic approaches. I ate salads entirely composed of leaves I had never heard of, tried Kombucha, banged my head on lemons whilst chopping back big clumps of lemongrass, ate homegrown pineapples, saw kangaroos fighting, heard lots of birds, and had a lovely place to live in. On days off they kindly showed me round the area, including going for a dip in the ocean. It was my last WWOOF placement and a great way to end.

**WWOOFER’S PARADISE** I cannot recommend Neil and Maria’s property enough. If you are looking to learn about organic farming practices, native Australian flora/fauna, a wholesome lifestyle, and herbal medicines/supplements, then look no further. They are the most generous, welcoming couple who take the time to introduce you to their biodynamic and permaculture farming techniques. I saw wild kangaroos, kookaburras, and dainty tree frogs. They also treated me to a day out in Noosa Heads, or you could venture yourself. This all not to mention the private studio retreat you get to live in! I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to WWOOF here, and its only a 3 hour train/bus ride from Brisbane!
