Short Property Description
‘Sat-chit-ananda’ is a 43 acre sustainable living demonstration property. We have chickens, goats for milk & cheese, a food forest and off-the-grid house. The remainder of our property is koala habitat & conservation area waiting to be mapped & regenerated.
Limited public transport. Can P/U from Kilcoy with prior notice.
Volunteering includes weeding, watering, mulching, animal care, food harvesting, fencing, weed management & habitat preserving. Current projects -medicinal herb garden, updating and adding to the food-forest, general maintenance.
Varied accommodation for 2 people. Caravans or tents. Children b.a. Shared meals & shared cooking, mixed diet, vegetarians can be catered for. No smoking inside, in designated areas. Prefer stays of 2 weeks or more, negotiable after initial visit.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We became hosts because we love sharing our lifestyle with others. We also wanted to give people a chance to experience life in an off-grid house and find out what is possible with a bit of creativity.
