Short Property Description
A friendly place in beautiful Brogo Coorumbene Springs is the home of 100-odd sheep, a herd of cows, a couple of horses and cats, where we like to make WWOOFers feel welcome with good food and sharing of stories.
Varied work with plants, animals and structure.
Full Property Description
Coorumbene Springs is a picturesque rolling 87ha property, 23 km north of Bega, bordering the Biamanga NP. It has a lovely creek running through it, with gullies coming down from Mumbulla Mountain. We are next to the bush with roos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, goannas and many varieties of birds.
Work includes looking after gardens & orchard trees, fencing, weed control, repairing sheds and an old slab cottage & helping with our sheep, cattle & horses. We try to make work varied & suitable.
We are ex-WWOOFers who enjoy good food & different cultures.
Accommodation in our home or separate building or BYO. Mixed diet, vegetarians catered for. Children welcome. No smoking. Bus stops close by. Can P/U from Bega.
