Kermandie Ridge Farm Sanctuary
Our property is situated in Geeveston in the Huon Valley. Our 100acre homestead is close to great bush walks and within walking distance to town and buses to Hobart.
We rescue and look after a menagerie of animals. At this point we have: chickens, roosters, ducks, alpacas, goats, sheep, ponies, geese and cows. We are also the process of establishing our homestead and are milking daily, cheese making, busy developing the garden, preserving food, bush regeneration and fire season preparation.
Accommodation is seperate private double room and shared spaces with the garden.
All food included and we prepare dinner together.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We are hoping to host like minded people to help us with establishing our property based on permaculture principles, and help with the daily care of our rescue animals. We enjoy hosting our friends and family and love showing them our beautiful area. We look forward to sharing our home with new friends.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We make and use lots of compost, try to maintain soil health and use natural peat control.
