Our property is situated in Geeveston in the Huon Valley. Our 70acre property/farm sanctuary is close to great bush walks and within walking distance to town and buses to Hobart.
We rescue and look after a menagerie of animals. At this point we have: chickens, roosters, ducks, pigs, alpacas, goats, sheep, ponies, geese and cows. We are in the process of establishing our property on permaculture principles, and regenerating the land so we can look after more animals in need.
Accommodation is seperate from our home and includes: 3 bedrooms, all sharing a kitchen, loungeroom, 2 toilets and 2 showers (one with a bath).
We have dinner together most week nights and you cook your own on the weekends.
We are hoping to host like minded people to help us with establishing our property based on permaculture principles, and help with the daily care of our rescue animals. We enjoy hosting our friends and family and love showing them our beautiful area. We look forward to sharing our home with new friends.
