We purchased our home in June 2023. Situated on over an acre of land, surrounded by national forest and offering stunning views across the hills, we believe we have found our own paradise. Our property was described as a “Renovator’s Delight” when we acquired it, presenting us with numerous potential projects. To date, we have installed a new roof and guttering, added a water tank, and gone completely off-grid with a standalone solar system. Additionally, we have planted over 200 native rainforest and fruit trees, and transformed bare land into food and flower gardens. With assistance last year, we created these gardens, built a shade house, established an outdoor laundry, conducted extensive gardening, tidying, and commenced dismantling the enclosed back veranda.
In exchange for 5 hours of work per day, 4-5 days per week (covering tasks ranging from gardening to building, carpentry, and painting), we offer our expertise and practices, three meals daily, and a camping space if you have your own accommodation (van/caravan or tent with power and running water available from the unfinished ablutions block). Alternatively, we can provide a bedroom with a double bed or a comfortable camp bed if you prefer not to share a bed. Our home is modest but comfortable and is continually evolving.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We have both worked as Woofers in the past – Guy in Australia, myself (Pasha) in the UK, Guy has also been a previous WOOF host. We love to share our dreams and knowledge with others and recognise how much people can teach us too!
Organic/Biological methods we use
We use a multi disciplined approach, blending 40 years of experience with various regenerative principles and practices to enhance our landscape and fit in with our tropical lifestyle. These include biodynamics (including homeopathics), eco-logical, biological, syntopic and nutrition farming, and permaculture design.
