The Wolery is the longest-running intentional community in WA- established over 30 years ago with 15 households, 13 kms west of Denmark. Our 62ha property is 5 kms (an easy bike ride) from the magnificent Greens Pool, and has 30 heactares of forest.
Our mud-brick, passive solar house is surrounded by gardens, orchards & chooks, and our WWOOFers accommodation is a delightful small room with loft, separate from the house.
Volunteering may include gardening or orchard maintenance, or assisting with community working bees. You may be able to work on other households on the community as well.
Accommodation for 2 or more with mixed meals. Louise is an awesome cook and we eat really well all year round. We are into the environment, music, walking, the beach, good food & meeting people. No cats or dogs & No Smoking. Negotiable stays.
