Small farm (65ha) in the hills near interesting small town of Jarrahdale in the forest. We are campaigning to protect our forest, good walks are available close by. ~I have practiced regenerative farming for years. Mixed farm of cows, olives &emu; friendly dogs. There is an olive grove with picking around Easter. We produce most of our own vegetables, meat, eggs and some fruit. Volunteering includes general farm work, gardening ; olive harvesting and bottling; pruning. Accommodation for singles or couples in our home. Good food, no smoking, WiFi/ Internet available. Min stay 5 days, negotiable after initial visit. Can P/U from Wellard train station or bus to door.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I needed help on my farm, I like working with young people,, I am happy to help with learning English, I like sharing farm and showing them countryside. I enjoy their company, I like to learn from WWoofs, It is good to share food and learn new dishes.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Spray free, compost and organic fertilisers. I am interested in regenerative agriculture and involved in landcare and local food promotions, local farmers market, forest protection and heritage.
