Day's Walk Farm is an amazing and beautiful place only enhanced by Paul and everyone who works on the farm (Billy Pickles included). My accommodation was perhaps basic but more than comfortable. The food (a mix or dried grains and pulses, a choice selection of fresh vegetables from the farm, and dairy and eggs from the organic market) gave me an opportunity to learn more about cooking as well as eat some or the healthiest food I've ever eaten. Work was work but there was plenty of variety and nothing was ever too strenuous. There is an abundance of wildlife on and surrounding the farm including the mob of kangaroos that cross it daily. The land owner will make offerings of powerful alcohol. It would be the perfect place if only it had Wi-Fi. Thanks, everyone.

I enjoyed my stay at Paul's days Walk farm a lot! The team is very, very nice and they let me felt included and welcomed from the first second. On the weekend, we had lots of fun in the city and one day, we even played table tennis together:) The accommodation is a shed with a bucket shower and a pit toilet which is a real adventure. The food with the fresh veggies directly from the field was yummy! I enjoyed the work on the field and it was interesting to see a commercial organic farm. The huge variety of veggies they cultivate is amazing! Thank you for everything!

I've spent to weeks at Days walk farm and it was amazing! Paul is really nice and the rest of the team too! It's was like a big family welcoming you immediately when you arrive. The work was more demanding than other woofing but rewarding and if you love working outdoor and learn about organic farming it's perfect! We harvest and planted so many différent things (tomatoes, snow peas, salad, pumpkin, capsicum, beansprout, garlic, onion,...). It was also such a pleasure to cook meals with all the ingredient coming directly from the field! Paul took us (me and the other wooffer who was there) into town a couple of time to do some nice activity or have a nice dinner! I've really enjoyed my time there, thank you for everything!! 🙂

Days walk farm provided a fantastic insight into the functions and operations of a large 'no till' organic market garden. I spent two and a half weeks with Paul and his crew of driven young farmers and loved every second of it. The work can be hard but its so rewarding. I learnt a great deal about building and preserving soil ecology, seasonal planting schedules, 'no till' processes and weed control. The team out at Days walk farm are a fantastic bunch and I would love to spend more time out there again.

I stayed with Paul and the folks at Day's Walk Farm for a few days in February and loved it! Very nice people who are full of information and fun. We harvested tomatoes, pumpkins, eggplant, carrots and greens, and they were gracious enough to leave me do weeding meditation each morning. The group meals were a welcome way to hear about others' experiences and to learn about different agricultural and business processes. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great stay guys!

I stayed with Paul at Day's walk farm for about 2.5 weeks. His farm is very conveniently located for me who don't drive as i managed to get into the Melbourne CBD fairly quickly on public transport. I am entirely new to farming and Paul has kindly given me a wide spectrum of opportunities to experience, including harvesting, irrigation, transplanting seedings, pruning delivery, farmers market etc. I mainly cooked simple but delicious meals from the amazing selection of vegetables freshly harvested from the farm, and it made me felt good because I am removing a lot of processed food from my diet which I am used to back in Singapore.
