Emily Hill Farm is a Certified Organic Blueberry farm, 1 hour from Melbourne by train.
Excellent Self contained accommodation provided. The accommodation is in a stand alone building which includes 2 bedrooms, your own bathroom, kitchen, meals and sitting area.
Blueberries are our main crop which we harvest in Summer. We grow other organic fruit, including citrus & vegetables for home use. We have cows & calves, and a beautiful young kelpie.
My son Ed also works here and lives close by. He also has 2 dogs so lots of dogs will be around.
Volunteering is extremely varied. Tasks could include harvesting in season, packing fruit, weeding, caring for animals including the chickens, feeding and collecting eggs, general property maintenance and varied farm work.
Ideal for a couple. Min stay 1 week, then negotiable.
We grow a lot of our own food, which is very healthy and varied. it is important that you don’t have any extreme dietary requirements and can fit in with our normal eating and food supplies. If you have any special dietary requirements you must discuss this with us before agreeing to come. We provide all food and many dinner meals will be cooked and eaten by the guests so you need to be self sufficient.
