Kate Tol
MOUNT MITCHELL is an historic farm in the central Victoria. Primarily we are a working farm, breeding sheep for both wool and meat, and growing some crops.
The homestead and gardens create a beautiful space for events. We host weddings, group tours and open garden days on occasions.
We endorse the paddock to plate concept and have an extensive vegetable garden and orchard.
WWOOFer volunteering includes mowing, gardening, hedge trimming, sheep work, fencing, wood splitting, looking after farm animals & pets, machinery maintenance, painting, building & general farm and house maintenance.
WWOOFers are accommodated in their own residence on the property. Some shared meals, or food provided to prepare your own meals.
Prefer WWOOFers with stamina who are physically strong and fit.
Extended stays are negotiable.
