Organic/Biological methods we use

Our farming methods are organic. All our food is produced organically using animal manures, compost and mulch. We have our own mulcher so that all prunings go back into the garden.
Weeds in the pasture are generally hoed or cut and we make a point of under-stocking to rest the pasture.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We became a host some 25 years ago now, to meet people travelling the world and to share our beautiful property and lifestyle with others. Over the years, we have acquired many skills and learned a great deal about looking after the land and growing our own food. We are keen to share this with others who have similar interests. We also value the physical help that young travellers offer in exchange for eating delicious food in an idyllic setting.
