Unavale Vineyard is a small, family-run vineyard on Flinders Island, Tasmania. The property features 6,000 hand-tended vines, a spacious main residence with upstairs private accommodation, and a variety of animals including dogs, a cat, ponies, and chickens. Set in a remote, picturesque location, the vineyard offers stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and easy access to beaches, wildlife, and the island’s natural beauty.
We host because we love sharing life on a small, family-run vineyard and connecting with people who enjoy nature, animals, and sustainable farming. We hope helpers leave with new skills, a deeper appreciation for island life, and memories of a unique, hands-on experience.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Organic principles are used in our vineyard. No Insecticides or herbicides are used and only organic fungicides are used when necessary. Our wines are made with natural yeasts and minimal intervention.
