Permaculture Institute
Tagari Garden Farm, est 1998, home to Permaculture Institute & Tagari Publications. 17 acres which include mature design & developing areas. A living education system, Lisa Mollison is looking forward to sharing the months before winter with you on new & old projects, food perseveration, vegetables production, soil studies, small livestock, nursery, fire preparedness & more.
Why I became a WWOOF Host
It all started when I was a wwoof volunteer in 1990 in New Zealand. It was such a great experience, I started hosting on my own property in 1996. I find it wonderful to be with people who enjoy and are also interested, in the beauty and intelligence of nature; producing our own healthy food, cooking together, sharing stories of life, sharing skills and information.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Only Organic practices are used here. Soil Food Web strategies- micro-biology enhancement, Nutritional Farming strategies from Nutritech, mulching, organic soil amendments, worm generation, IPM (integrated pest management) mini farming techniques and tools are used.
