    Short Property Description

    We have a hobby farm where we breed Angus cattle, run sheep & lambs, ducks & chickens. There are fruit trees, berry bushes & veggie garden. A stream runs through the flower gardens, lawns & ponds with big trees that all bring peace & beauty to the farm. We are an older couple & have enjoyed Hosting for over 16 years in our stone home. Accommodation for 1 or 2 WWOOFers are welcomed into the family. Shared bedroom with separate guest bathroom & good wholesome meals. No alcohol or smoking please. The township of Sheffield is only 9km away. Can pick up from the nearby city of Devonport.

    Full Property Description

    Our property is approximately 4 hectares of flat pastures with substantial gardens. Lots of native wildlife including wallabies, rabbits, birds and the occasional possum or two. If you have your own transport we are less than an hour from Cradle Mountain National park and Dove lake.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

    We grow a lot of our own food and a big vegetable garden. We also have raspberries, blueberries and many fruit trees including but not limited to cherries, plums, apples, pears and nashi pears. We obliviously do a lot of mulching.  We have a 4 wheeler bike and trailer for paddock work.

    Very limited telephone/mobile coverage and time limited WiFi at the farm. Sheffield has other options.
