Sorry but after 30 years I can’t take it any more so I won’t be accepting people again.ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR VAPEING ON THE PROPERTY. I prefer to breathe clean air. Read again so you are sure. PLEASE DO NOT BRING PERFUMED PRODUCTS [SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER ,BODY WASH , SOAP ,SUNSCREEN] I can supply an alternative. I have become highly sensative to “perfumed products” .People have not been getting the first message on my profile so PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY BODY OR HAIR CLEANING PRODUCTS. I WILL SUPPLY THEM FOR YOU. If there is someone interested in a long term place to live and learn about organic farming, I am open to that. There are areas of usable land that I’m not really able to keep up with, so they could be yours for growing”whatever” to make some income. Please read section 7 of the guidelines for Wwoofers and understand it.
Hi All you lovely WWOOFers. I’m especially looking for some long term people if they are around. I’ve been very fortunate to live in this beautiful part of Tasmania for 30 years and just love being able to share it with people from all over the world.
There is 19 ha of farm to care for [some bush, pastures and extensive fruit and vegetable gardens]. Then there’s millions of ha of stunning mountain and alpine wilderness to explore right behind the farm. Please come and enjoy life for a while. I prefer people to stay at least one month and have a genuine interest in learning about sustainable farming and living.
Why I became a WWOOF Host
I became a WWOOF host in 1995 as friends convinced me to do it and I thought it would be nice to share the place with others.
Organic/Biological methods we use
