Andrew Palmer
We welcome all WWOOFers to our 70-acre farm and vineyard, 40 km east of Hobart. Our farmhouse is beautiful, with a large garden, hammocks, river, swimming lake and kayaks, and is 30mins drive to the coast, city and airport. We also have a house in the city so time may be split between farm and the house in Hobart.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

To share wonderful experiences on our permaculture designed vineyard and farm. As backpackers from 30 years ago, we love to hear your stories and we know the importance of having a safe, relaxing space to chill for a while.

Organic/Biological methods we use

The farm is designed on permaculture principles and we do a lot of composting, mulching and rotate our sheep through our paddocks regularly. We have extensive water harvesting infrastructure and build many things with recycled materials.
