Short Property Description
20 km south of Hobart, 1km from bus stop. Internet access. Next to North West Bay River and adjacent to Mt Wellington NP. Our 12 acre property is conveniently located and full of natural beauty, with bush, paddocks and 3 acres of organic blueberries (yum!) and vegetables.
Volunteering includes planting, mulching, harvesting, sorting, packing, native plant regeneration, farm maintenance. Some experience preferred. Great opportunity to gain skills and experience in organic gardening, vermiculture and permaculture methods.
Studio accommodation for up to 4 people, or camping. No children or pets. Also links to work/local harvest trail. Possible additional studio for a couple. Van camping also possible with access to communal studio area.
Wwoofer’s have always enjoyed the Longley water hole (Google) in the hot middays of summer. The iconic Cathedral Rock walking track is also very close. Another treat is the Longley pub with live music every Sunday, this famous pub serves great food and is renowned for its live music. (Google)

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We have used our land and farm to pioneer a system of regenerative, soil first market gardening in order to feed our family and local community. We aim to share our knowledge, specialised skills and commitment to this land that we are responsible for with those that are ready to make that step to learn.
