On our 250acre mixed farm, we have beef cattle, sheep, egg and meat chickens, seasonal vegetables. We are biodynamic in conversion and are looking for single of couple to help us with everyday chores, like collecting and packing eggs, repairs and maintenance, slashing paddocks, weeding and planting gardens. Some days will be quiet, and some days will be very busy. Accommodation is gorgeous self-contained log cabin. We will supply the food, but you cater for yourself.
We have always done everything ourselves, however my husband Brett has some physical health issues which has slowed him down and now and again we really need some extra help with the daily chores and maintenance on the farm. We have a 16yo son still at school through the day.
Brett loves teaching his skills to anyone who will listen, he is very knowledgeable and loves a chat. I on the other hand run a tight ship and like to get on with the job at hand 🙂
Organic/Biological methods we use
We do natural, regenerative farming using Biodynamic principals. Everything we produce goes to feeding our like-minded community. All our customers are registered through a private buyers’ group; we do not sell to the public.
