Short Property Description
40 acres of former bottle tree dry rainforest becoming an irrigation supported food forest after 100 years of devastating cattle production. Now into the sixth year of soil and canopy development using permaculture principles and syntropic methods. Operated by gay couple Shea and David and their three dogs Hugo, Ivy and Badger. Main products include figs, limes, Persian sheep, floristry products and nursery plants.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We had a massive amount of assistance from extremely generous WWOOFERS when we moved here in 2018 and after COVID and some adventures with co-farming and developing off-farm careers we would love to start working with international WWOOFERS again!
We never expect our guests to work four hours a day, if they can assist us for maybe 6 to 10 hours a week we are more than happy.
Proston is a little remote so we do our best to cater to specific diets but may need a little advanced notice to stock up on vegan and gluten free products.
