Short Property Description

I can offer experience on a 10 000 acre Cattle, goat and sheep property in SWQ. Property is off grid with solar power and back up generator and is quite remote. It is nearly an hour to town on a dirt road and own transport is a must. Come experience a working livestock property, be involved in station life as much or as little as you would like. Enjoy the animals and serenity of the Australian outback. A Fully furnished 2 two bedroom cottage is available with wifi, power and an inside bathroom and toilet. 4 -6 hrs a day of a myriad of tasks from caring for animals, gardening, handy man, regular station maintenance and management. An opportunity exists for paid work if you can offer a trade skill. Most suitable for the energetic who are happy to live in isolation. (A great way to live and see outback Australia without spending $). Ideally this position would be suitable for persons willing to spend time riding and caring for horses in addition to the variety of other property projects.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I have become a wwoof host to share my wonderful lifestyle and environment with people who are interested in learning about outback Australian life first hand by living on a station and joining in with the everyday jobs on hand. I’m interested to learn of different methods from across the globe people can offer.
