PLEASE DO NOT SEND MESSAGES AS CURRENTLY NOT TAKING WWOOFers, thank you.
Mypolonga is situated on the Murray River, 17 kms from Murray Bridge and 95 kms from Adelaide. We are on 7.5 acres and an old stone home. I have 2 dogs, 3 horses, 2 alpacas, hens & guinea fowl. I was certified organic until recently but, as I no longer produce apricots, I cannot justify the expense of annual certification – however I still do not use herbicides or pesticides.
Volunteering includes general farm chores, maintenance and weeding. Wwoofers often come with expertise in a certain area – which is wonderful all round. There is always something to do!
Accommodation for 1-4 people in my recently renovated granny flat or in my home. Kate teaches part-time. Mixed diet. No smoking inside. Neg stays after initial visit.
Own transport beneficial as I am out of town.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I have met some WONDERFUL people from all over the world while being a WWOOF host – I am still friends with many of the people who have WWOOFed at my place – I hope to continue to meet people from all walks of life and from all over the world.

Organic/Biological methods we use

I don’t farm anymore – many of my apricot trees died during the last drought and the rest have slowly died since then – I have a horse and 2 alpacas in the paddock that was the orchard.

I have a few fruit trees in my ‘house orchard/chook yard’.

I still run my property as organic and use no poisons.
