Sue MacNicol and Kim Reef
Cennednyss Community is an intentional community of 5 households living on a small property in the Adelaide Hills near Mt Lofty. Our ages range from mid-70s to mid-20s. We live cooperatively, guided by feminist & ecological principles.
Our native trees & 2 dams provide homes for many birds, possums & koalas. We work together to care for our property, growing a diverse range of fruit & vegetables & harvesting wood from our trees & honey from bees. We enjoy having hens, sheep, alpacas & kangaroos as well as domestic animals.
WWOOFers will be asked to participate in all aspects of growing, management, harvesting and preserving our produce, including: composting, mulching & digging out blackberries. Also, fire prevention work & firewood collection.
Accommodation for 2 people our home, shared mixed meals. No children. No smoking inside. Initial stay of 3-5 days, longer by negotiation.
