Connect with nature, abundant wildlife and amazing stargazing opportunities, whilst enjoying an unforgettable Wwoofing experience.
Set among 300 acres of natural bush in Far North Queensland, only 20 minutes from Cooktown.
You will stay in one of our eco-friendly lodges in return for helping us recover from the damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Jasper which means that we can sign off for the 88 days working holiday subclass 417 & subclass 462 volunteer work.
Wwoofing includes ground maintenance, flood recovery, rebuilding and landscaping.
We work closely with our Indigenous traditional owners so have Indigenous tours, walking trails, fishing, stargazing and free WiFi.
Our bush walks and riverside picnic areas have been created using local, sustainably sourced and recycled bush timber whilst our eco-friendly bush lodges have sustainable waste water systems and solar power giving them zero carbon energy emissions.
Dave and I spent time living in Arnhem Land with our Indigenous family members and we love introducing our visitors to Indigenous culture, sharing our dreams and knowledge with others and recognise how much people can teach us too!
Organic/Biological methods we use
No chemicals are used at Rossville Retreat.
