Bryan and Cheryl Heit
We are so fortunate to live in paradise, high rainfall green pastures, nestled under magnificent mount Barrow. Usually once or twice a winter we’re treated to snow, adding a whole new element to our beautiful property. We proudly sit at our dining table and enjoy meals of all our own produce, from multiple vegetables to mouth watering beef. We have a closed in blueberry and raspberry enclosure ensuring our freezer is full and our cupboards stocked with preserves. We breed pedigree golden retrievers, black Angus cows, Birman cats, and light Sussex chooks go without saying, perfect entertainment for any animal lover. We have a permanent running creek, home for mountain trout and spectacular platypus who pop their delightful heads up every evening. Our house is quite large as our free range children have all left the nest. Leaving us with large empty bedrooms. Our wwoof guests are welcomed and treated as part of our family.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We have been hosts for around 7 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the company of all our wonderful guests. We have had the opportunity to get to know wonderful people from all over the world. Best evenings sitting around the fire pot partaking in an evening beverage, getting to hear of everyone’s life and adventures. Our reason for being a host is twofold, we give and guests hopeful feel at home and feel the Australian culture.
