We are situated at the base of the Tomowin Mountain Range that divides Queensland and NSW. We are close to Mt Cougal National Park, where meandering natural rock pools wind through the tranquil rainforest. We are also close to Currumbin beach. Although we are in the rural sector , our property is a compact average suburban block of ground. Still we have a good variety of organic tropical fruit and citrus trees, and a compact garden.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

Other woof hosts introduced me to this organisation. Being a Christian woman living and caring alone for my older sister woof host friends thought it would.be a great benefit for me to have some help. I had lived in China teaching English for six months so I felt the exchange would be beneficial for the woofers I would host.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We maintain this property using unharmful recipes for weed control. We incorporate composting and pruning and mulching. All household food waste including grey water are recycled back onto the garden through these methods.
