Short Property Description
We are situated at the base of the Tomowin Mountain Range that divides Queensland and NSW. The valley is home to a host of native birds & wildlife. We are a 10min drive away from Mt Cougal National Park, where meandering natural rock pools wind through the tranquil rainforest. We are also a 10km drive from the beach and a great surfing spot. Although we are in the rural sector of Currumbin Valley our property is a compact average suburban block of ground. Still we have a good variety of organic tropical fruit and citrus trees, and a compact garden. Volunteering is mainly gardening, some shared kitchen duties, and house maintenance, 4-5 hrs daily, 5 days a week. Accommodation for 1-2 single guys/girls, or a married couple. Good food, meat-based, mixed diet. Prefer intermediate speakers of English. No drugs, alcohol or abusive language. Non-smokers only. P/U from Varsity Lakes train station, Palm Beach bus stop, or Gold Coast airport. Negotiable stays after first few days.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
Other woof hosts introduced me to this organisation. Being a Christian woman living alone my woof host friends thought it would.be a great benefit for me to have some help. I had lived in China teaching English for six months so I felt the exchange would be beneficial for the woofers I would host.
