Short Property Description
Located in North Queensland, we have 80 acres across rainforest hills with springs to low lying swamp land with rich fertile soil between. We have a variety of tropical fruit including citrus, sapote, vanilla and cocoa.
It’s early days having bought the property slightly run down 2 yrs ago. Whilst we’re re-building the property we can’t offer accommodation but if you have your own camper van / are camping we’d love to host you!
Organic/Biological methods we use
We harvest rainwater and utilise the spring water for irrigation in addition to being our main water source. We use companion planting to reduce the need for pesticides. Being in the wet tropics we also generate plenty of compost to enhance soil fertility.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We have travelled the world living and working where we enjoyed meeting new people. We experienced wwoofing in the UK several years ago and enjoyed meeting like minded people.
As life gets on, a more enjoyable pace of life in a beautiful environment is what we are hoping to achieve through self sufficiency.
