We have been WWOOF Australia Hosts for over 36 years and have had the opportunity of Hosting WWOOFers from all over the world! We run a Wilderness Lodge which has 5 kms of river frontage. The main activity for guests is canoeing. The property is a declared wildlife refuge and home to platypus, endangered rock wallabies & many bird species.
Volunteering includes maintaining a large organic veggie garden & orchard, rainforest re-establishment, landscaping & canoe guiding.
2 people in separate accommodation with vegetarian meals. No Smoking Inside Please.
We love meeting travelers and hearing about their adventures. Not being overseas travelers, it is great to get an insight into the way people live and work in other place. We also appreciate the extra helping hands we get to be able to tick off things from the job list.
