Short Property Description
We have a small mixed farm of 160 acres that backs onto a small mountain. We agist cows and have a boer goat stud and a small mob of dorper sheep.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Our main organic controls are our yearly crackdown on the invasive weeds in our area. All involve walking the paddocks to find plants, then cut and bag seed heads and dig the plant.
Through vigilance, we are maintaining good pasture for our stock.
We have started to travel down the road of regenerative agriculture. Mineral balancing, multi species pasture and compost teas are all either in progress or on the agenda this year.
