    Short Property Description

Welcome to our 62-acre organic farm in the stunning Lenswood hills of the Adelaide Hills wine region. We raise sheep, cows, calves, and chickens, and care for fruit trees and native bush as part of our regenerative, chemical-free approach. We’re transitioning off-grid and have just completed a major water project. WWOOFers help with gardening, animal care, bush restoration, firewood, and reviving this land’s natural beauty. Stay in our homestead or camp onsite, share home-cooked meals (and help create them), and enjoy great conversations — especially if you like business and getting your hands dirty.

    Organic/Biological methods we use

We follow natural, chemical-free farming methods and are working with the land to restore its health over time. Rather than doing things the conventional way, we rely on manual weed control, composting, rotational grazing, and letting our animals contribute to soil and pasture health. Our focus is on working with nature, not against it — keeping things simple, practical, and low-impact as we move toward a more self-sufficient and regenerative farm.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I was introduced to the WWOOF community through my sister, who has hosted many WWOOFers over the years. Seeing the positive impact they had, not just on her land, but on our family and the rich cultural exchange it was wonderful. Now that we’ve taken on this beautiful property in Lenswood, which hasn’t been actively farmed for over 20 years, it felt like the right time to welcome WWOOFers into our journey. We’re in the early stages of restoring the land, and we see hosting as a way to share that process, connect with others who love nature and practical work, and create a meaningful exchange of knowledge, culture, and purpose.  Along with sharing our extensive business knowledge.
